Eugen Wollfarth, head of the OSCE presence in our country will leave Albania after June 23 elections. Wollfarth made this statement today as he made an appeal once again for Albanian politics on the June election.
Regarding the resignation of Mr.Denar Biba, OSCE Ambassador expressed his respect for his image and for his decision.
“In my opinion he has contributed significantly to the creation of a constructive atmosphere for the establishment of a technical environment for the electoral process. And I am confident and hope him to have a good future professional in the future because he deserves it. “- Said Wollfarth.
Regarding his departure from the country he claims that this is not a media speculation but a fact already.
“I am a German diplomat, I have three years here and the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, has provided to me a very good post that actually no diplomat would refuse and I have accepted it and the movement will be done within the year . “OSCE Ambassador explains.
He stresses that will be present for the elections hoping that they will be independent.
“Albania has sufficient resources to work humanely in CEC or ZEC, Albania should do its best to separate politics and the apolitical bodies such as the CEC.” – said Wollfarth.
Ambassador Wollfarth hopes that June 23 brings clarity and that no more problems in Albanian’s internal discussions.
